About Us
Helping Hearts Senior Services, Inc. is a small, 501(c)3, non-profit organization. It was founded in 2018 and established to provide a menu of services to meet the needs of elderly citizens living in the Liberty Hill/Beaver Creek community and surrounding areas of Kershaw County, South Carolina. Through a partnership with the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Helping Hearts delivers services located at 3238 John G. Richards Road in Liberty Hill, SC. Services and activities provided include social engagement, health and wellness education, transportation, recreation, nutritious meals and other assistance to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Seniors from Kershaw and Lancaster Counties participate in the programs and activities offered by the organization. Services are provided by volunteers who willingly offer their time, and often personal funds, to meet the needs of our participants. In August 2019, we held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the creation of the Helping Hearts Intergenerational Park.
The park will serve as a vibrant open space where community members of all ages can interact and fellowship, play games, exercise and share experiences.

The mission of Helping Hearts is to demonstrate that "love serves" in a caring environment where activities and services are designed to meet the need of senior adults to engage in social interaction, to help improve and maintain seniors' health and wellness, and to enhance the overall quality of life for seniors in our community.
